At events and conferences, FFA members hone leadership and character development skills that apply to real-life situations.
The FFA Agricultural Policy Experience encourage and challenge students to push past their current knowledge of agricultural issues and policy and become a more informed and active leader in their schools and communities.
H20 is a one-day conference taking students through creating ripples of leadership in their personal lives. Attendees learn how to develop action plans for their own lives from every angle in order to create an influence.
INTENSE is a college and career exploratory experience for students entering and exiting the 10th grade. The intention is to showcase multiple MN college campuses and provide students an opportunity to explore where they feel comfortable and successful while giving them hands-on opportunities to try career experiences in a variety of AFNR pathways.
POWER Conference allows members from around the state to work together with fellow regional officers to establish Regional goals and a plan for implementation.
Regional Officer Leadership Orientation is an event offered to regional officer teams to provide them with training and resources to have a successful year. The focus of the conferences is on individual leadership and development.
The State Greenhand Leadership Conference is an event designed for first year FFA members. It is a five day conference that offers students an opportunity to learn more about the National FFA Organization, discover their potential as a student leader, meet people their age from across the state of Minnesota.
State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders is the second leadership conference offered for Minnesota FFA members. It is a five day conference that focuses on the member’s ability to serve on the chapter level. Aspects of leadership and personal growth are also covered. This conference is designed primarily for high school sophomore and juniors.
WLC is the ultimate leadership experience for FFA members. It provides hands-on experiences that help attendees learn how to apply leadership skills to real-life situations. This conferences focuses on personal development, diversity, advocacy and service. There are seven, one-week sessions each summer.
