State FFA Choir
Application Due: March 8
All choir activities will take place on the Minneapolis campus near 3M Arena at Mariucci. Students are responsible for their own transportation and meals unless indicated.
Tentative Schedule
Sunday April 21, 2024
Choir students should be dropped off with their music by advisors at the Huntington Bank Stadium (directly across the street from 3M Arena at Mariucci) in Official Dress.
3:30 – 5:30 P.M. - Choir: Rehearsal at Huntington Bank Stadium
Note: Dinner on own at own expense. There are several options within a quick walk of the stadium and arena.
5:30 P.M. – Session 1. Choir participants leave from 3M Arena at Mariucci with chapters.
Monday, April 22
Students are responsible for arranging travel to Huntington Bank Stadium.
1:30 pm – 3:45 pm – Choir Rehearsal at Huntington Bank Stadium
3:45 pm – 4:00 pm – Choir Sound Check (will begin as soon as Session 2 concludes)
4:00 pm – 5:15 pm – Dinner provided (sandwiches)
5:15 pm – 6:15 pm – Band/Chorus Concert
6:15 pm – Session 3. Choir participants leave from 3M Arena at Mariucci with chapters.
Tuesday, April 23
10:00 – Choir participants arrive at 3M Arena at Mariucci for warm up
10:30 – 11:00– Lunch provided for Choir participants (pizza) around concerts
11:15 am - Concert 3M Arena at Mariucci
12:00 pm – Session 5. Students travel home with their chapters.
To participate in choir, students should submit an application online.
There is a registration fee ($30) for students participating in band or chorus to cover the cost of meals/rentals and programming. Chapters will pay this fee through the convention registration. If band participants have dietary restrictions to dairy or gluten, please indicate that on the application.
